(Up Here) American Power Shift 2 of 4

Further to 1 of 4 …

I have just read the September Esquire piece on John McCain.  It’s fairly vapid, a trait shared with the topic, according to the writer.  It says–without a hint of meanness (perhaps because, as it also says, McCain tends to be vengeful)–that the man hasn’t got a hope of going to the White House.

And it says that he doesn’t actually want to.  And it says he’s stubborn.  Which altogether suggests that he is likely to be stubborn about not going and the army of operatives who have taken on the challenge of sending him there can’t make him go.  So there.

God bless a man true to his own befuddled self and damn the seven figure campaign consultants.

I am surely right this time around.
